Networking Really

"Networking" seems to be the in thing nowdays, everyone seems to be  talking about it.be it the doors of college,in our locality or just a casual getogether everyone's busy introducing themselves exchanging numbers and adding each other on social networking sites like facebook and if thats not enough you have pinterest, tumblr, stumble upon and many more.
what is the first reaction when you meet someone, you try and figure out their first name so you can search rather hunt them on facebook so funny.Social Media has somehow totally changed the dynamics of human relations, the way people connect. The bond that binds people together, its not that i am criticizing social media but i feel its become an easy way to sustain relationships in the fast moving world be it your family, friends or collegues.
Social media has changed the way people percieve one another,People are judged on the number of friends in their friends list,by the pictures they post and places they hang out.Friends are distant even close family connects through social media.
Social Media should act as the binding force should bring people close but all we get to see there are pictures of people we havent met for ages,I have more than 500 people on my facebook profile but how many of them are actually connected with me,with how many people I stay connected on a daily basis most of these people are just another profile on my list.
It takes just a minute to call and say Its been long to an old friend, family or speacial people in you life but they would remember that one call more than a thousand times that you like their updates
So all the people reading this post get up and dial a friend, family you have not said hello for long

Till we meet again

Ramadan Series-Are we really thankful

While I was travelling back home from work I always came across beggers on the signals in absolutely terrible condition and my instant reaction would be to shift to the side where I presume they would not come and bother me and the moment they come my instant dialogue is "Maaf Karo" meaning forgive me.But Ramadan definately gives you a different prespective towards so many things in life I learnt a very important lesson today :"If you wish to know how blessed you are always look at the people who are deprived of what you have,And you shall never ask for more".

As I looked outside the window of my car I realized that there are so many things that we are blessed with but sometimes we just fail to thank the almighty,Did you ever think how ugly the world would look if you did not have a proper eye sight, how difficult it would be to do our daily activities without our hands. As I write this article I am already feeling a sense of gratitude towards My Lord.

Ramadan no doubt is a month of blessings,But It just does not stop here It is the beginning to a year long test where you have to put everything you learn and acquire in this month to use.I have observed amongst the youth that how much ever busy we are through out the year even sometimes missing our prayers due to other commitments we become all  pious and dedicated during this month,If we can do it for a month why can't we do it for the entire year.

People are so busy running behind all the worldly things that sometimes they forget the true motive of their existence,This life is just a test,So i think we all should take sometime of and spend this ramadan introspecting what we really want to achieve success here or hereafter,How good or bad are we as humans, when was the last time we helped someone, when did we spend time taking care of our mom and dad.

When we reach a stage of self introspection we may probably realize that we are not even 1/10 of what we should be or rather what we should be to be good muslims. So my dear friends take a breather and think about how you want to spend the coming year.

Till we meet next time

Ramzan Series-Part1 What Ramadan means to me

Asalawalekum Wa Rehmatullahi Wa Barkatahu,

This is the traditional way in which most muslims would great each other, meaning which means let the peace and mercy of Allah SubhanaTallah be upon you.I would like to start by wishing all the readers of this blog post Ramadan Mubarak..May this month bring in your life happiness and joy.

I remember growing up as a kid Ramdan at that time for me was a month where people would fast for the entire and day and eat in the evening that is it.I did not know what amazing opportunities Allah gives us during this month to cleanse ourselves and be a better muslim. But In my growing years speacially in my graduation I decided to utilize my free time more effectively in understanding what Ramadan is actually all about. Thanks to the internet I got all the information I needed first hand and more so I started enjoying the whole process of knowing what exactly this month is all about and what opportunities Allah Tallah gives us through this blessed month.

By the time Ramadan was here I had my plans in place,I used to spend dedicated time in doing dikhr and salah and Quran.More so I spend this one month in trying to rejuvinate my soul and be a better muslim by reading hadith and understanding the way of life.

I could see the difference in my personality,I became a more calm and composed person I was more giving and subtle in my attitude. There was some kind of peace within me.I felt a sense of communication with the almighty and the faith that all my problems will be taken care by him

I personally wanted to write about this because I feel that Eleven months is a long time,to make mistakes, fall prey to things that our not only bad for our body but also soul, weakning of iman and forgetting what we are here for.I have made a promise to myself to be a better muslim and use this month as an opportunity to become a better muslimah...how about you..!

Lessons learnt

Aaj bohat dino ke baad kuch lihne ka dil kar raha hain,I know many of you guys must be wondering why the sudden change in the language its just that sometimes you explain certain things better in your own native language Isnt it,anyways so today in our class there was this little exsercise where we had to tell something about ourselves i am always paranoid of this activity because half the time i am confused what i should talk about.Anyways I wanted to talk about few things which i could not then...You can say this is more of a lesson's learnt kind of a blog

Of all the things life has taught me these will be with me forever.
1.Life is to short to live it according to other peoples wish and desire's and there are very few people who have the courage to live their life their way so get up and be one.
2.There are no rights or wrongs in this world,Only you know whats best for you.
3.Crying does not mean you are weak.
4.Never compromise on your dreams you never know if you will get a second chance.
5.Just once break the rules of life you will never regret it.
6.Experience love it makes you strong.
7.Do not let people's opinion bother you,god created you and someone like you.
8.God is watching you.He will never leave your side.
9.Do everything with conviction.
10.Hardwork and Dua can change your destiny.
11.Most importantly never compare your lives with others you do not know what their life has been like
12.Forget and forgive

Have a nice week guys

All that jazz

Hello beautiful people,

Its been a while I wrote about just anything random well i guess not all that random...I remember being a teenage not that I am an oldie or something but just a few years back when most of the people around me, people I have known for ages even today give a damn to all the worldly things.Hey she wears a Prada, hey she carries a Louis Vuitton well guys I don't know even if I spelled it right.People have turned brand conscious rather than checking on what they look good in ohh let me just put it right what suits them..

Hey I have absolutely no issues with all that designer jazz,I just got reminded of something my mom always tells me every penny counts and every penny earned is invaluable. She always told me never compromise on quality but learn to save, nothing lasts forever not even the most expensive bag you get for yourself so why judge people with what they wear..sadly in this changing world, brands are all that define you..But you know what friends I would like to share with you words of wisdom I understood over the years
"whenever you look back at life you will always find people backing you, who love you for what you are not because you are a milionaire, and they wouldn't care if your broke they would just be there because they value you"

Have a great week Ahead guys..!

What makes them different

Hello guys,
Its been a really hectic week  for me with all my exams and presentations but the good thing is, its all over  and I get some time to do my regular writing, well today's blog is a dedication to all those beautiful people in our life who in someway influenced our upbringing, our thoughts and to a large extent what we are..!

So to start with my best people I would like to mention about my nani(grandma),shes been an inspiration for me like forever I remember being a kid and going to my native hyderabad every summer i loved that time of the year as I got an opportunity to play with atleast a 100 kids of my age no it was no kindergarden school that i was put into to do something productive it was a school run by my nani for all the underprivilidged kids in the locality whose mother and father could not afford to send them to school, she created an entire school with more than 100 students studying till class 10th .In an era when girls were barely educated she was an inspiration and hope for 100's of kids she always made me realise how important education was for the upliftment of the society.

The second person I want to talk about is my Dadiammi,She was a housewife like any other lady she did all the normal things that a housewife does cooking, looking after the kids well she had 7 of them, and her days passed in bringing them up but on some serious thinking I realised that every housemaker teaches something to us that no books can ever teach, the art of patience, the strength to fight for the rights of her kids, the infinite love she gives to her family without any expectations, the knack of understanding every requirement of the family without even asking them, the ability to sacrifice oneself for the sake of the the people you love i know i know what ever i just wrote is all known to you guys but how many of us actually acknowledge this fact

the third person i want to mention here is my dad for a simple fact that if there is any person on this planet who is responsible for whatever little i am today its him,he has burnt the mid night oil jus to give us all the happiness and luxuries of life, travelling in locals, sacrificing family time,he let go his golden years of fun and enjoyment just for his children.I can never ever tell him what he is to me..

So guys go ahead tell your stories of the most beautiful people in your life

till we meet next time
